Todays Surf Forecast for Gerrans Bay
1-2ft , wind SSW choppy

General Surf Situation
A strong gusty south westerly coming through on Saturday. Making for messy conditions on exposed south coast spots. There could be something worthwhile in shelter. The north coast will also be far less clean than Friday with a choppy wave where the beach is exposed to the wind. plenty of swell around so picking the right sheltered beach will be the difference between a classic session and a very hard paddle.

Weather Forecast:
Headline:
Outbreaks of rain tonight. Wet and very windy on Saturday.

This Evening and Tonight:
It will be windy this evening with outbreaks of rain moving northeastwards across the region. There will be further rain at times overnight, some of which will be heavy.

Saturday:
Overnight rain soon clearing to leave sunny spells for a time, before further rain spreads from the west later. Very windy for July with gales in some exposed southwestern areas.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Generally unsettled with either showers or longer spells of rain, some of which will be heavy, although conditions will become mainly dry and bright later on Tuesday.

It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours.
