NOTE: The above data is for deep water ocean swells, and does not mean that waves at the beach will be that size or direction. It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.

Lahinch Beach with its variety of breaks caters for novice, intermediate and experienced surfers. 5 miles further south you will find Spanish Point, another perfect surfing beach. Both are some of the best places in Europe to learn surfing with the advantage of the slower rolling Atlantic waves.
